Sometimes I get caught up in what needs to be done, or rather, what hasn’t been done. When it’s raining, I want the sunshine, and when the sun is shining hot, I want the rain to cool me off.
Very rarely do I actually sit back and take the day for what it is. One more day on this Earth with my littles at my side. I tend to take life for granite.
Not today. Today I will be grateful for whatever it brings. Rain or Shine.
Today I am grateful for:
- not getting frustrated when Stone was up every 45 mins last night.
- morning coffee.
- The fact that Adelyn recognizes half the letters in the alphabet, when we JUST started working on them.
- The orders that keep coming into my Etsy shop.
- My Lover (nuff said)
- I asked God to grant me patience with the kids the other day. I am grateful because I KNOW he heard me, and his tests keep coming. (BTW if you’re listening now, I think my patience are all set! Thanks again.)
