Morning Coffee: Confessional

This morning, if I was ordering from Starbucks, I might just order what my sister always gets. A QUAD! That’s right, 4 shots of espresso. I think that may be the way to finally get my mind and body tuned to the sun.
While I sip my coffee and wake up, I’m going to confess some things I havn’t even said out-loud this week:

1) I’m obsessed with Picnik. (ok, ok… I’m sure you’ve noticed from recent posts! Bare with me while I get it out of my system.)

2)  I had an entry scheduled to post on the 1st. Comcast shut our internet off on the 1st (damn them!). I posted it the next day. AND changed the date so it looked like I posted on the 1st.

3) Remember said shut-off notice. It was delivered the same day as Comcast shutoff. It was a rough morning.

4) I was plucking my eyebrows, just feet away from Adelyn as she chopped her hair off. I heard it sub-consciously, but didn’t realize what I was hearing until it was too late. #badmommymoment

5) In order to get any sort of sleep at night, I co-sleep. And by co-sleep, I mean that on the nights when Stone wakes up @ 1AM, I bring him to bed and let him have his way with me. Craig says he’s the true definition of a “titty baby” (it’s a term of endearment, I swear. hah). (I know all about what could and can happen while co-sleeping. I also know the benefits of it. I choose to do it. I enjoy doing it. You’re entitled to your own opinion. I’m sure you do something I don’t condone. Don’t leave me hateful comments!)

P.S.  Join in on the fun. Add the button below to the bottom of your post then come back and link them up here! You can confess one thing, you can confess 10 things, you can link up your post today, or any day throughout the week.
I’d love to read all about your secrets.

Note: This will be a weekly link-up. I know it will start small, but I am hoping with all your support it will grow over time.

  1. My mind is blank right now, probably because I need more coffee. No secrets from the week from me. One secret i think we all have done and do is the co-sleeping thing. Both my babies were terrible sleepers so up until they were about 8 and 12 weeks old they slept with me. It's the only way the would sleep.

  7. My confession of the week would be I tend to just glare at my husband when he talks about the follow: the waves, the weather, spiders. The hurricane(s) have made all of these topics come up non-stop in my house and all I can do it glaze my eyes over and pray that he stops soon. He knows that "I don't care" and I attempt to amuse him but recently have been failing miserably. I love him, I just feel exactly as he puts it...I don't care (about these topics).

(I am new to blogging, so I am not sure if I am doing this correctly or not >.<)

  9. Hmmmm, I don't have any dirty little secrets this week (that I'm willing to share).

I remember those day all too well. Sometimes if you want to keep your sanity, and you want to get some sleep, you bring the baby to bed!

    Your kids are super adorable!

  10. LOL!! You are cracking me up! I guess I have a "titty baby" too... Her name is Snow and she's 8 months old and still wakes up at least twice a night...usually more than that. Eeeeep. So yes, I let her sleep in bed with me. If I didn't, I'd NEVER sleep a wink!

  11. You've left me with 2 things to go check out now...picnik and where I can buy that adorable coffee cup cozy. I have played around with picassa a bit but not picnik. I hope your daughter did no chop off too much of her hair! I am stopping by from VB and hope you will come over to About A Mom and say hi.
