Let’s pretend you are at my house this morning, having coffee (or tea if you prefer). Stone’s scooting all over, getting into whatever he can, and Adelyn is sitting at the dining room table eating…err… marshmallows. We had a good nights sleep, aside from Adelyn thinking 2:30 AM was “Good Morning”, so I’m feeling a little extra spunky this AM. After my second sip of coffee, my thoughts would start to flow from my brain out of my mouth, without a second thought (coffee tends to do this to me as if I’ve spiked my cup with some liquor instead of sugar). I’d state loudly and proudly:
I like bad words. That’s it. Not in the trashy you sound ignorant sort of way. Rather in an emphasis sort of way. I’m not just excited, no no no, I’m F#%&ING excited! It wasn’t just the best day. It was the BEST F#$&ing day ever! I do not say GD or JC though. So imagine my surprise when last night, walking through the store Adelyn is shouting GD, GD, GD (did I mention we’re in the bible belt) and I get an A+ . Because while in the moment I couldn’t contain my laughter, eventually I did, and I explained it wasn’t nice and she should not say that. Later, while skyping, I told my mom what she said, Adelyn looked at me and said “don’t say that, it’s not nice”.
We’ve had poptarts for breakfast the past few days. This is totally cool, cause a few days ago, we had scrambled eggs and toast. That evens it out.. right?
Listen up all you grammar Nazis! I know that I don’t use there and their correctly. If it bothers you, I am sorry. When I’m in thought typing, there just flows out my fingertips. I know how much this bothers you, and I understand, because I have a few grammar things that drive me nuts, but I do not go around posting rude comments on other blogs anonymously. Seen, Saw. Whatev. Tomato, Tomato. If you see a spelling error, feel free to send me an nice email letting me know, that’d be super neat of you. But don’t leave rude comments. It takes a lot of time to write posts, by the time I'm done, the last thing on my mind is if the grammar was correct. I have kiddo's I want to roll around with.
And to go a little further into the anonymous comment thing. Just because it’s anonymous, and you don’t have to leave your name, does not mean you have the right to be rude. If you are posting something, and choose to do so anonymously without leaving your name or contact info, I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t be leaving a comment. Most likely, it’s rude, and the reason behind not leaving your name, is because you don’t want it attached to the negative comment. Grow some balls! Leave your name. And if you are this amazing photo editing genius, leave your website, I’d love to see some of your work. If you know everything there is to know about growing a blog and how bad grammar can bring your site to a halt, please please please, leave that site too so I can learn something.
I over edit my photo’s. There I said it. This I know. I also know that they don’t look natural. HELLOOO. Duh. If I wanted them to look natural, they would look natural. I enjoy editing my photos. It takes me time to edit them just the way I want to. And while you might not appreciate the before and after, know that it did take time and I wouldn’t have posted it if I didn’t like it, therefore, making any negative comment on the subject is rude, negative and uncalled for.
I want to be a famous blogger! You know, like when someone asks you what your go to blog is, and you reply adelynSTONE. That would be amazing (or as Jamie says AMAZEBALLS). I know it’s a far out there wish. But you could make it happen by just letting adelynSTONE flow out of your mouth when asked this questions. YES, YOU, can make this dream come true for me. (smiling and winking)
On a lighter note. MY SISTER IS MOVING TO TENNESSEE NEXT MONTH!!! I’m very excited about this fact. All will be right in the world again. Two sisters will be together, best friends reunited.
Now that I’m done ranting and raving, and we’re on our second cup of coffee, spill YOUR beans!
