so far...

2013 has looked a little something like this:

One goal of mine this year is to really learn the ins and outs of my Canon. I used it daily when I first got it, but it has been sitting way too much lately. I need to get it back out and learn how to really shoot with it. Any book recommendations on digital SLR's would be loved! xo

  1. I have "Quick Snap Guide to Digital SLR Photography" An Instant Start-Up Manual for New DSLR Owners and David Busch's Quick Snap Guide to Using Digital SLR Lenses.

Both are very easy to understand, I just sat down camera and book in hand playing around with it!

    1. Thanks Jennifer!! I'll have to make a coffee date (by myself) to B&N ;)

  2. "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson is the absolute best book for learning how to shoot in manual mode and really master your camera! I bought it after owning my Nikon dslr for 2 years, and I finally learned how to use my camera. I've read and re-read this book just to refresh my memory. You'll love it!

  3. Looks like a good year so far :) Adelyn is the spitting image of her mama. Pretty girls!

  4. Oh how I want a DSLR, but I had to settle for another point and shoot (at least it's a nice Canon this time, though). I love it so far. Oh, and your photo at the top...Looks like my house!
