Faux Cheese // vegan mac n cheese

INGREDIENTS

1 TBSP coconut oil
1 TBSP flour
1 C non dairy milk
1/2 C nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
salt & pepper to taste
 

 

 

MAKE

Cook your noodles
Heat coconut oil until melted in small sauce pan, add in flour.
Whisk until paste forms.
Add in remaining ingredients and stir.
Toss noodles in sauce.
Serve.

Also- I will not lie... this does not taste like mac n cheese! But it is delicious in it's own right. It's got the mac n cheese texture that reminds us of the good ole comfort food we love. And it is really good, I promise!
