Our winter break was spent soaking up as much Vitamin D as possible. It's different for me. Growing up in Michigan, winters looked different than they do now. I'm struggling with it. The memories I have from my childhood, the traditions… well they look different now. Trying to navigate Florida winters and make new winter traditions is tricky down here, because you can't go sledding and drink hot cocoa. We don't make snow angels, but improvise with sand angels. There are no snowmen in Florida… but I'll be damned if there aren't sandmen!
